Teaching Artist

Andréa is currently a professor of Musical Theater Performance at Yale University. She also serves as adjunct faculty at NYU Tisch School of the Arts (New Studio on Broadway.) Andréa served on the faculty at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC and was a co-creator and faculty member of Stella Adler’s Musical Theatre Intensive.

She has taught master classes at New York University, Montclair State University, Manhattan School of Music, University of Wisconsin, Western Connecticut State University, Elon University, The Jimmy Awards, New World School of the Arts, The Hangar Theatre, Camp Broadway, and Broadway Artists Alliance. 

She is also the Associate Artistic Director and Master Teacher at "CIMTSS,” the Christchurch International Musical Theater Summer School in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Andréa is the 2016 Recipient of the Broadway Beacon Award, an award presented annually to individuals in the theatre and Times Square community who have been advocates for increasing the audience for live theatre and for understanding the importance of Arts and Education in the lives of New York City’s young people.
